Video: Chris gets a colonoscopy and silly on drugs

Ok so here’s a video of my colonoscopy adventure yesterday. It’s been almost four years since my last one and I was about a year overdue. Four years is a long time and I’ll admit I had a little “scanxiety” leading up to the procedure.

I’m strong, and healthy, and feel great, but I was still a little nervous about the results…

This is probably the only time you will ever see me doped up on camera.
Micah and I got a lot of laughs watching and editing this.

So last week I stumbled across another documentary about water fluoridation that came out in late 2012.

It’s a really great compilation of interviews with experts on the subject.

The only downside is that it’s almost 3 hours long.

But since it’s just interviews and no important visuals, if you don’t want to sit down and watch it, you can just press play and listen to it while you are doing something else, yard work, cleaning house, exercising… I pulled it up on my iphone and listened to it on a three hour drive to Nashville a few days ago.

Study: Gold nanoparticles kill cancer without chemo

Lymphoma can be starved to death by depriving it of what appears to be a favorite food: high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol. And gold does just that.

Super Healthy Food We Buy At Costo

So I’m often asked “Where do you buy your food?” Well when I first started this journey in January 2004, organic food was pretty scarce in Memphis, TN.
Now (thank the Lord on high) it is much easier to find.

We shop at various places like Whole Foods aka “Whole Paycheck”, Kroger, Fresh Market, and local Farmer’s Markets. And Micah does a pretty good job of keeping up with which store carries what, and who has better prices etc.

But one of our favorite places is Costco. A couple years ago we discovered that they have a really impressive selection of organic food and health food. So I thought it would be fun and helpful to take pictures of the super healthy food we buy at Costco on a regular basis.
