Bend Over: The Unpopular Opinion on Vaccines

Before you jump to any conclusions, I am not anti-vaccine. My family has had some vaccinations, but I wouldn’t exactly call myself pro-vaccine either… I am an advocate for vaccine safety.
Vaccinations have been a controversial topic in the natural health world for a long time and they’ve recently been under a lot of mainstream scrutiny as well. But do they really help or do they do more harm than good? It’s complicated…
Vaccinating children every year is a multi-billion dollar annual business for the pharmaceutical companies. Think about it. The more vaccines they can convince the government to recommend or require, the more money they make…
This explains why in the last 25 years the amount of vaccines given to children under 6 has increased dramatically, even though the occurrence of many of these diseases still remains extremely rare.  When I was a kid in 1983 the recommended vaccine schedule was 11 doses of 4 vaccines.
The 2017 schedule for American children is 50 doses of 14 vaccines before they turn 6. And they will have a total of 69 doses of 16 vaccines by age 18.

Sometimes as many as 12 vaccines are given in a single visit!

If you think that’s a lot, you should know that even more are in development. Not because we need them, but because pharmaceutical companies want to sell more vaccines.

And many of the vaccines administered today are for low-risk, non-fatal, or diseases that are practically non-existent in First World countries. Chicken Pox, a disease most of us had growing up, is now a vaccine required by the government (insert pharmaceutical executive high-fives here) and it is not even guaranteed to work.

Natural exposure to bacteria, viruses, and germs produces a stronger immune system that can protect you from degenerative disease in later years. Vaccines only provide temporary immunity. Remember Chicken Pox parties? I’m all for ’em! I would much rather my kids get chicken pox than get the chicken pox vaccine.

Ever wondered what’s in a vaccine? Here’s a partial list :

Lab altered viruses and bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, gluteraldehyde, sodium borate, sodium chloride, sodium acetate, monosodium glutamate (MSG), hydrochloric acid, lactose, gelatin, yeast protein, egg albumin, bovine and human serum albumin (DNA from humans and cows), antibiotics, unidentified contaminants, and more.

What about mercury? Thimerosal is a 49% mercury-based preservative still present in a few vaccines (mainly flu shots) that has been linked to various brain, gut and immune system disorders. To see which vaccines still contain mercury, go here.
(Read this post on the dangers of mercury)

And while the pharmaceutical industry has published their own studies “proving” that there is no connection, scores of mothers of vaccine-injured children continue to come forward year after year with testimonies of vaccine-related injuries, including autism.

Meanwhile the rate of autism in the unvaccinated communities, like the amish, is nearly zero.

According to the National Vaccine Information Center:
– In 1970 1 of every 2500 children developed autism.
– Today 1 of  every 150 children develop autism.

Not only that, but today more children have learning disabilities, ADHD, allergies, asthma, diabetes, and sickness in general. 1-in-4 kids today is taking some type of prescription medication.

Something is happening. And it’s not good.

There are some people that get very upset about the vaccine and autism issue. Before you get all huffy and puffy, let me be clear. I’m not saying vaccines cause autism. What I am saying is that vaccines contain the toxins listed above, and some of them like aluminum and mercury are directly linked to brain and immune system disorders including autism. In a “perfect storm” situation, depending on what other environmental toxins a baby is exposed to, the ingredients in vaccines and the high fever sometimes caused by vaccines could cause an adverse reaction with lasting health effects. That is something we want to avoid.

Most folks who are quick to criticize anyone who suggests vaccines may not be safe don’t know about The 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act.

This was passed by Congress to compensate families for vaccine-related injuries or deaths. Yes it really was. The good thing about it is that it legitimized the fact that vaccines can cause harm. The bad thing is it actually protects the pharmaceutical industry from being sued and uses our tax dollars to compensate victims. Yet another example of how the pharmaceutical industry controls the medical industry. Read more about it here.

Now there are some people who say you should never vaccinate your child. But the reality is there are children in third world countries dying for lack of some vaccines. As a parent it becomes a very difficult decision once you are exposed to information like this.

I’ve heard some people dismiss this issue and say, “Fear is not from God,” I agree! So do you let your young children play with knives and matches? Do you leave them alone at the park? Do you let them play in traffic?

Of course not.

As parents we trust God to protect our children from harm, but we also participate in the process.

It’s important to address vaccinations not from a position of fear, but with wisdom; not blindly trusting the government and the billion dollar pharmaceutical industry to operate with your family’s best interest in mind.

Here’s what my wife and I did:

Our children did not get the Hepatitis B vaccine because it was unnecessary and has been linked to an increased risk of neurological damage and even Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Hepatitis B is a virus transmitted sexually and by needle sharing. The Hep B vaccine has 250 microgram of aluminum. The adult daily maximum of aluminum is 50 micrograms. The max for a newborn should be 15 micrograms. They are now giving this vaccine to babies on the day they are born!

The Hep B vaccine sis supposed to give lifetime immunity, but according to Dr. Paul Thomas MD “The studies are showing that only 26% of 20 years have Hepatitis B immunity, that means for the vast majority, the Hep B vaccine did not work.

Pregnant mothers are routinely tested for Hepatitis B. If the mother doesn’t have Hep B, the child is not at risk. But when I politely told the nurse that we didn’t want our first daughter Marin to get the Hep Bvaccine the day she was born the nurse got nasty and said, “Well I hope your baby doesn’t die!”

What kind of person says that to the parents of a 1-day old baby? Needless to say, I did not take it well and I kicked her out of the room and reported her to her supervisor.

As for the rest of the vaccines, we waited longer to get the shots and spaced them further apart. I suggest you look at the current recommended vaccination schedule, read up on the risks and side effects of each vaccine, use your own discretion, and make a plan that you are comfortable with.

Our girls definitely aren’t getting the HPV (Gardasil or Cervarix) vaccine

Read the alarming conclusion from this 2013 study on HPV vaccines and you’ll understand why [emphasis mine].

“We carried out a systematic review of HPV vaccine pre- and post-licensure trials to assess the evidence of their effectiveness and safety. We find that HPV vaccine clinical trials design, and data interpretation of both efficacy and safety outcomes, were largely inadequate. Additionally, we note evidence of selective reporting of results from clinical trials (i.e., exclusion of vaccine efficacy figures related to study subgroups in which efficacy might be lower or even negative from peer-reviewed publications). Given this, the widespread optimism regarding HPV vaccines long-term benefits appears to rest on a number of unproven assumptions (or such which are at odds with factual evidence) and significant misinterpretation of available data. For example, the claim that HPV vaccination will result in approximately 70% reduction of cervical cancers is made despite the fact that the clinical trials data have not demonstrated to date that the vaccines have actually prevented a single case of cervical cancer (let alone cervical cancer death)… Likewise, the notion that HPV vaccines have an impressive safety profile is only supported by highly flawed design of safety trials and is contrary to accumulating evidence from vaccine safety surveillance databases and case reports which continue to link HPV vaccination to serious adverse outcomes (including death and permanent disabilities). We thus conclude that further reduction of cervical cancers might be best achieved by optimizing cervical screening (which carries no such risks) and targeting other factors of the disease rather than by the reliance on vaccines with questionable efficacy and safety profiles.”

Wow. Right?

Medical doctors are speaking out against the current vaccine schedule

There is a growing contingent of medical doctors who have boldly come forward to question the current American vaccine system.

Fortunately for us, our pediatrician was very understanding and easy to work with. If yours isn’t, find a new one. Older pediatricians are typically much more laid back, than the younger conventionally minded know-it-alls.

You can find alternate vaccine schedules in The Vaccine Book by Dr. Robert Sears MD and also in The Vaccine-Friendly Plan by Dr. Paul Thomas MD.

We do not get annual flu shots for several reasons…

– Flu shots contain mercury/thimerosal, one of the most toxic metals on earth.

– There’s no guarantee that the vaccine will work as they are manufactured from the previous years strains.

– And they don’t last/don’t work, which is why vaccine manufacturers recommend you get one every year. Exhibit A: We all know people who got a flu shot and still got the flu!

Everyone in my family has been sick with the flu at some point in the last decade. It’s certainly no fun, but I believe we are all healthier and stronger because of it.

Remember the Bird Flu and the H1N1 Swine Flu?

The pharmaceutical industry convinced the CDC, Homeland Security, and other government agencies that these flu strains would be a global pandemic and a “public health emergency” was declared. Of course the media had a field day, reporting on it every day for months.

Fear and hysteria opens the door for pharmaceutical companies to produce “emergency vaccines” and rush them to market with only a few weeks testing on few hundred people.

Needless to say, with government support and funding, vaccines are a grand slam profit for pharmaceutical companies.

The reality is that there are billions of dollars of profit behind vaccines, so don’t be naive. A lot of money is spent to influence research, government agencies, and the media to keep the vaccine industry profitable.
We aren’t afraid of unvaccinated people
The idea that unvaccinated kids pose a threat is illogical. Just think about it for one second. If vaccines work, then vaccinated children and adults have nothing to worry about. The only people at risk are the unvaccinated. I’ve met lots of kids and adults who were never vaccinated and have never contracted any of the vaccine diseases (except for maybe the flu and chicken pox).
Measles perspective
In 2012, there were 55 cases of measles in the U.S. In 2013, there were 187. In 2014, there was a “large outbreak”. 667 cases were reported mainly among unvaccinated Amish communities in Ohio.  And people freaked out and blamed the anti-vaxxers. Then in 2015, the number of cases dropped down to 188 (that was the year of the Disneyland outbreak). And in 2016, there were only 70 cases.
According to the CDC, “the majority of these measles outbreaks were in in the unvaccinated.” But the word “majority” is a bit of an exaggeration. A JAMA study found that since the year 2000, 57% of the measles outbreaks have been in unvaccinated people, and 43% of the cases WERE in vaccinated people.

The Polio Vaccine Cancer Connection

In the 1950s, millions of children were injected with polio vaccines contaminated with a cancer-causing virus from monkeys called Simian Virus 40 (SV40). How did this happen? Pharmaceutical companies used kidney cells from rhesus monkeys to quickly grow and harvest the large quantities of the virus needed to produce the polio vaccines.

In July 2002, the National Academy of Science Institute of Medicine (IOM) Immunization Safety Committee convened a study into SV40 and cancer which led to a report published in October 2002 entitled “SV40 Contamination of Polio Vaccine and Cancer” and according to this report:

“The committee concludes that the biological evidence is strong that SV40 is a transforming [i.e., cancer-causing] virus, . . . that the biological evidence is of moderate strength that SV40 exposure could lead to cancer in humans under natural conditions, [and] that the biological evidence is of moderate strength that SV40 exposure from the polio vaccine is related to SV40 infection in humans.”

Im not an expert, but the flu shot is given each year due to the various flu strains each year. The flu does not stay the same. Not that I recommend anyone get the flu shot. I have only had my daughter vaccinated for pertussis and pneumonia. I am still trying to decide about other vaccines. There are good arguments on both sides and its hard as a layperson to make a decision. I dont buy into conspiracy theories. I read the fourteen studies denying a link between thimerosal and autism. It was interesting to see that one study found a link between language delay and tics and thimerosal (!!) while it ruled out the autism link. I had to read it twice to make sure, but Im amazed that that is not considered important. Perhaps it was ruled out in another study?? In the end Im confused. Thimerosal was removed from vaccines in 2003, but parents report full thimerosal dose vaccines being given even after, with expiry dates for 2007. So its unclear if there are still thimerosal vaccines out there or not. If autism is rising but thimerosal is gone then it cannot be a major player, but is thimerosal completely gone yet?? Some people claim autism comes from various mercury sources like coal burning plants. And other claim that mercury poisoning ONLY presents as mad hatter’s syndrome. Anyways, I could go on and on. Thank you for posting your opinion on vaccines.

      Hi Jess
2011 Flu shots are manufactured with 2010 flu strains.
Thimerosal is still present in these vaccines: DT, DTwP, Tetanus, Flu, and Meningococcal
This link shows the thimerosal/mercury content in all vaccines
      http://www.vaccinesafety.edu/thi-table.htm

      1. Heather

Do you know if they make versions of Tetanus and Meningococcal vaccines without thimerosal in them? I’m going to be doing mission work in a third world country at some point and would want these vaccines as a preventative measure, which is why I’m asking. Also, if there are alternatives available, do you know if they are more expensive? Or, if, in general, insurance companies pay for the alternative version under the “routine immunization” benefit since they are slightly different than the standard vaccine (i.e. don’t contain thimerosal?) Thank for the info in your post!

Chris! I love this post. The argument is so logical, to me. People often reference the amish factor. I read the articles that curious journalist wrote that provide that information and it is so compelling. One question that I never see asked, however, is this: if there is no link between autism and vaccines, then let’s raise a hand for any child who has autism and has NOT be vaccinated…anyone? Anyone? I’m not trying to be callous. And I understand that’s not “Independent lab researched information”, but if and when a survey like that is ever done, and compare that information to the Amish community findings, I bet there would be a pretty big blow to the argument that there is no link.

Rich’s brother is a pediatrics plastic surgeon, so he has his “ear to the ground”, so to speak, in the medical community more than most. When the H1N1 kafuffle was happening, he was pretty sure it was a big media uproar to distract the public and good investigative journalists from something else going on…Sounds conspiracy-theoryish, but he’s definitely not that type so his opinion surprised me.

I am continually astounded at the vaccines that are advertised (*ding ding ding, that should be a clue!) like shingles…Shingles comes from the same virus as chicken pox. In fact, you can only get shingles if you’ve had chicken pox and it is dormant in your nervous system. Oh, by the way, you should also get your chicken pox vaccines while you’re at it… :P If you’ve had chicken pox, you could get shingles. Getting a vaccine is not going to stop that.

I have heard so many friends, as I’m sure most of us have, talk about getting the flu vaccine and getting the flu anyway, usually worse than they ever have.

I always go back to the measles outbreak in Iowa a few years ago when discussing the efficacy of vaccines. More than 600 people came down with measles and the first thing the media jumped on was that it was the fault of an unvaccinated traveler. I saw ONE, only one, article that reported how angry and confused the majority of those 600+ people were because they had been vaccinated, so how could they have contracted it and become sick? Great question! The answer was a simple brush off of “well, it was a European strain of the virus”, end of discussion. Even if that’s true, then the vaccine they were given wouldn’t have prevented it anyway.

There is a hugely high risk of contracting Hep B and several other serious viruses and bacterial infections in a hospital. I imagine the insistence of delivering that vaccine in a hospital is to safe guard themselves from lawsuits, since hospitals are not non-profits and doing the work for the greater good. Maybe on an individual level, the doctors and nurses are there for altruistic reasons, but the hospital itself is a business in it for profit.

I feel like I’ve hijacked your post. Sorry!

  3. Anna

Great post! With our first we chose to delay vax. I continued my research and came across the book, Vaccinations Deception & Tragedy By Michael Dye, while pregnant with my 2nd. It added so many more questions in my quest for answers! I was very surprised at the research they quoted. I’m not sure how balanced it was?
Are there any vaccine books that you recommend?

    1. chrisbeatcancer

Hi Anna! Check out the books Evidence of Harm and Vaccine Epidemic.

    Chris!

I am so happy you touched (more like stomped) on this topic. I am not brave enough to do so myself. I know the amount of research that goes into writing an article like this. I’m so happy you “went there!”

  5. Judy Seeger, ND

Over 28 years ago, with my first son, I decided I wasn’t going to vaccinate. I had already studied to be an herbalist and knew from the alternative medicine world that vaccines weren’t the right way to go.

I didn’t vaccinate my next 2 children either, but because I had homebirths and homeschooled them it never became an issue…until I went through a horrific divorce and my ex-husband wanted to put them into public school.

I couldn’t believe the amount of pressure they were putting on me to vaccinate my children. But I had read a book by an author who said that if you get hassled by the authorities, give them a form that they have to sign their name to. This form states that whoever gives the vaccination guarantees that they will be responsible if the child has any side effects such as flu like symptoms, vomiting, diarrhea, etc to paralysis or death.

I gave a form to each child to take to their father and the school nurse. Needless to say, no one signed the forms.

This worked for me at the time, but I’m not sure it would work today. It seems that the pharmaceutical companies are increasing their pressure that trickles down from the doctors, nurses, educational system, and on.

Since I’ve been a naturopathic physician, I’ve learned to tell parents if they can’t avoid vaccinations, at least make sure they do a tremendous amount of detoxing to eliminate the poisons as fast as possible.

    1. chrisbeatcancer

Thank you so much for sharing your experience Dr. Judy!

      1. Jenn

Could you recommend some detoxing for kids after vaccines?

        1. judy

There’s many ways to do simple detox programs for kids. I can’t get into real specifics here since its a case by case program. But in general, eating beets, drinking water with fresh lemons, drinking herbal teas to gently cleanse the liver, are all safe to use.

It also depends on the age of the child and overall condition, but foods and liquids are a good place to start.

    2. Gail

In Oregon our homeopath doctor got vaccines that were mercury heavy metal free dead virus etc … might look into that ? It’s been years but it was the only way we did it for our kids and only for the “have to’s’ we just say NO now… I believe there is a company in Colorado that makes them you can order them and have your/any physician administer them ? Just a thought for those people stuck in the school system and policies

        1. allen

i found out after learning about viruses that viruses are really not considered to be alive to begin with . they are just basicalld dead strips of dna protiens . they can however trigger living cells like so many other cellular messaging molecules . if you see a vaccine labled as “live” be very skeptical . ann viruses are dead , kits the cells of the host responding that are the effects of these things . now go on to realize ppls are very different immunologically , so the effects cannot be predicted . these vaccines are garbage and frankenstein medicine . be warned and pass the word .

  6. angie

Thank you for blogging this. The more people know, the better.

  7. joelle

we have adopted the same/a similar policy for our family. I think that most people just have no idea…. one great way to illuminate the issue is to compare the CDC’s recommended list and schedule from 1976 (our generation) to now–eye opening!!

  8. Jenn

I forgot to mention there was an excellent video we watched online called “The Truth About Vaccines”. Anyone should be able to search for it and find it and watch it for free. It’s an Australian documentary and helped us form some of our earliest and foundation opinions about the issue.

  9. carolyn

it seems to me that the purpose of most corporate sponsored science is to make you doubt the experience of your own senses. notice how “anecdotal experience” is dismissed. we are told that autism rates haven’t risen at all and that the increase in reporting is due to “better diagnostics.” huh? like parents in the past were too stupid to realize that their kids were autistic without being told by some doctor? i think not!
and notice how many parents who report that their kids were perfectly normal BEFORE being given the accelerated series of vaccines have their experience dismissed by their doctors.
this phenomena goes across all facets of medicine- breast cancer incidence hasn’t really gone up; we merely catch more of it thanks to mammograms.
HFCS and regular sugar metabolize the same; it’s mere coincidence that people got obese eating the same foods after HFCS was substituted
you feel fine but your doctor tells you you have high cholesterol. he puts you on statins and you become a cripple but that’s ok because your cholesterol levels are down and the medication has nothing to do with how terrible you feel.
chris beat cancer but that’s “merely” an anecdotal story and his experience can’t be extended to others since it hasn’t been verified by double blind gold standard research
this is all bullshit. people ARE fatter, sicker, getting more cancer. kids DO have more autism, more ADD, more depression, etc.

do you wait for science to tell you what to think or do you go with what you KNOW?

    1. chrisbeatcancer

Great points Carolyn. People tend to blindly trust science without realizing that science is constantly changing. What was true a few years ago is proven false today and might be accepted as true again tomorrow. Also most scientific reasearch is funded by corporations with an agenda. The desired outcome needs to lead to profits. Many prescription drugs were proven “safe” by “research”, given to millions of people, then recalled after too many people started dying.
I believe many if use go against what we KNOW, because modern medicine tells us there’s a better or easier way to get well. In modern medicine short cuts to health come with side effects.

  10. Jennifer

Thanks so much for this great information. How I wish I would have taken all of this seriously 13 years ago when my daughter was born. I used to think people who did not vaccinate were extremists who didn’t give a crap about society. I viewed un-vaccinated children as a real threat and danger to others. Unfortunately, I didn’t know that while I huffed and puffed over all my unfounded beliefs, my own children were receiving shot after shot after shot of mercury and other toxin laden vaccines that were slowly destroying their immune systems. Now, fast forward to today. After 36 shots a pop, which is what was recommended to me, and yes sometimes up to 7 in one single visit! I had to watch my children both slowly sink into serious problems. My son, autism, my daughter, ADHD, depression, learning delay and serious problems with her endocrine system. I am now working with a doctor who helps to detox their systems, but it is a long, and slow process that is very tough to do. I wish I had this information years ago, but even then, b/c the doctors were SO insistent and made me feel like an idiot, I still might have gone through with it. If your pediatrition makes you feel stupid, get a different doctor right away!

    1. chrisbeatcancer

      Hi Jennifer
Wow. Thank you so much for sharing your story.
I’ve been attacked numerous times by people with the same mindset you had initially.
And I understand why. It really is hard to believe that vaccines, which are supposed to help society,
can have so many harmful consequences.
Please feel free to post links to any information out there that you want to share with readers here.

Hi, I would like to point out some gentle inaccuracies. A DPT shot is 3 shots but delivered in one needle. If counted correctly children receive nearly 70 shots, not 36. According to Robert Kennedy Jr as CDC mentioned 1 in 6 children now have a Developmental Disability, 1 in 5 neurologically impaired. This is an outrage and it was surely not this way until a 1986 law was passed that blocked you from ever suing a vaccine maker in a regular court if your child seizures, became autistic or died. With No responsibility or culpability 2 lost generations of children have occurred. Autism, ADHD, LD What about Dangerous Peanut Allergies? Peanut products were added to vaccines! Recurring ear infections, eyes not tracking, sensory overload, auditory Processing disorders, eventual MS, Lupus….C…We CAN recover these very ill children. Please see,”Recovering Autism ADHD and Special Needs,” on youtube.

Tetanus is not something that occurs without injury, so as an alternative you may want to keep this in your first aid kit http://www.hannasherbshop.com/shop/tetanus-teta-clostridum-bact-resi-vibropathictm.html, combine with http://www.hannasherbshop.com/shop/vyr-33-defensetm-formerly-a33r.html

I can personally attest to the validity and effectiveness of Hanna Kruger herbs and vibropathic formulas. When I was pregnant with my third child, I, along with my husband and one of my sons came down with salmonella virus. We were violently ill. I took Hanna Kruger’s vibropathic remedy for salmonella and within two days I was well enough to do errands, and within five days I felt 100% recovered. My husband who is a smoker took eight days to be fully recovered, and my son recovered as fast as I did.

I would also recommend you do your own research, and google meningococcal outbreak and the name of the location(s) you are traveling to. Even if the vaccine is recommended by a governmental agency, it doesn’t mean it is a valid recommendation, as the CDC, FDA and pharmaceutical lobbyists are in bed with each other.

    Dear Chris,

Your entire blog is impressive, thank you for sharing resources. This section on vaccines could use some more info, so I am starting by including a video of Dr. Gary Null addressing a New York State assembly hearing in 2009, still very current. The facts he shares are as you will see backed by science, and you will begin to see that the so called science done by the pharmaceutical industry does not follow proper protocol, and many vaccines are fast tracked. Real science in fact does not support the idea of vaccine efficacy or safety. Dr. Gary Null demonstrates these facts very clearly, and in a language that can be easily understood by lay persons.

Part one of three (about 10 minutes each) (you’ll see part two and three if you are interested)

Great post. I could say so many good things about you blog, but my English is not that good, so I just want to say: It’s so good to see that Iam not along. I don’t give my kids any vaccine, everyone gets so mad at me,but I don’t really care. The schools sometimes give me a hard time but they are my children and they need to be protect by me. keep up the good work. God bless You always.

  18. Gina

    Hi Chris, loving your blog…

just to get it out of the way, I am heavily ANTI. After my first daughter was born, in 2000, we had good friends in Chiropractic College tell us about what they were learning about the body and vaccines… it was enough to stop the presses until we felt we researched enough. My first child received all her shots on schedule for her first year. [im sure you’ve heard all these stories before, ill try to skim] When the doctor told me there was a new vaccine on the market they wanted to give my daughter, i told her i didn’t feel comfortable with it cause it was so new, i wanted to research it more. It was the Varciella Vaccine, which I later discovered was made from aborted fetus cell lines. All morals aside, she mixed it in as a cocktail and gave it to my daughter with the others I had approved. I didn’t know until I got home and saw it on the yellow card.

She was 12 months, and at 18 months she began having seizures. Connected or not, I was a ticked off mama bear, and I now hated all doctors. From that experience, baby #2 was coming, and at the hospital I demanded NO Vaccines. I signed waivers, blah blah blah… and they gave her Hep B in the hospital behind our backs. They told us we were young “ignorant” parents and didn’t know what was best for our children. (If your wondering, I didn’t ever do a home birth, I had 3 more in hospitals, slow learner)

This #2 baby NEVER received another vaccine. At 18 months old she started having blackouts. We took her to the mind Institute at UC Davis, here in California. She underwent testing with their Pediatric Neurosurgeon there, who advised us that it would “be a good idea to keep her away from vaccines” Her blackouts continues until about age7, diagnosed as “Palid Breath Holding”, when she got stressed out, her heart would stop for a brief second, she’d pass out, and then wake up returning to exactly where she left off… like a ‘bleep’ in the tape. It freaked us out SO bad. At age 6, she was hospitalized and diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I know there are no direct links and I can’t prove anything anyway, but since you have obviously educated yourself so well, do you have any thoughts regarding Type 1 Onslaught Jr. Diabetes? May or may not pertain to vaccines, but have you found anything in your research that would be helpful in overcoming it?

Im convinced its a similar money market as cancer, looking for real healing for our now 10 year old,

Oh by the way, our next 3 kids, never vaccinated, zero health problems… just fyi :)

      Gina,

After having my own experiences with vaccinating my first two sons and after becoming aware of the ingredients (among other deciding factors) decided to stop vaccinating altogether with my second son being 6 mos. old. None for my next two boys.

Hang in there and keep researching. I don’t agree with everything Cass Ingram, D.O. says, but he has done some research on the vaccination issue (chew the meat and spit out the bones kind of thing), and he does think that vaccines are realated to childhood diabetes increases.

I don’t know if it will help, but one of his books entitled, The Cause for Cancer Revealed…the Vaccination Connection, he shares natural remedies you can take or give your children to help with the consequences of vaccination. A primary one he mentions is Wild crafted oil of oregano.

Also, Robert Mendolsohn, M.D.’s book, How to Raise A Healthy Child in Spite of Your Doctor may be helpful, as well.

Yes, people, vaccines are made from animal serums, blood, & tissues, as well as aborted fetal tissues plus other toxic ingredients. Disgusting! And then we allow them to be injected into us and our children. I don’t believe this stuff is helpful/healthful to our immune systems. I beleive we’re being lied to: for the love of money is the root of ALL evil.

Free flu shots at work today. It is taking all my self-control to not blow it all up.

    Hi Chris,
Just came across this post – thank you for sharing the info and your own experience. Do you have any specific research about the MMR vaccination? We have eliminated a number of vaccines from our schedule such as the Hep B and we are still holding off on the MMR for our son who is almost 2. I have read about separating them but according to Dr. Sears it’s not that easy to do. Would you mind sharing any info/experience you have?
    Thanks again!

    Hi Chris,
Thank you so much for everything you do and for all this information.
I don’t know if I missed it, but if not then I wanted to add that many states will accept a religious exemption from vaccinations. Some states even allow it after some vaccines have already been given. It seems so ridiculous that American parents are given so much trouble over vaccinations.
    Thanks.

Love this post. Couldn’t agree more. As a Mom, I sat on the fence for about 2 years on this subject. I researched, read, watched documentaries, watched presentations, read more, etc. I finally decided not to immunize any further with my kids. They were both already school aged, so we had already done quite a few shots for them already. No more.

I might add, I have been taking my son who is 14 and was been diagnosed with ADHD and ODD in 1st grade to see a alternative MD in St. Louis who helped us discover high levels of mercury in his body among other heavy metals. We’ve been doing IV chelation therapy and other treatments, supplementation, etc over the last year and a half. His levels are way down, but it’s a slow process. How did all that mercury get in a boy who has no mercury fillings and doesn’t eat seafood or fish? Immunizations.

Chris, re your comment: “Vaccinating children every year is a multi-billion dollar annual business for the pharmaceutical companies.”

Quite… You might be interested to look at the information I’m putting together on my website i.e. “Over-vaccination: Challenging Big Pharma’s lucrative over-vaccination of people and animals” http://over-vaccination.net/

The website is a work in progress, so I’ll be adding more information. It’s about time the public woke up to what is going on, we need to start challenging the ‘experts’ who continue to push more and more lucrative medical interventions on healthy people…

Also Chris, I’d be interested to know what you’re planning to do re the HPV vaccination for your children? See this summary on my website for info: http://over-vaccination.net/questionable-vaccines/hpv-vax/

    1. Chris Wark

That’s great Elizabeth, thanks for sharing the links.
My children will not be getting the HPV vaccine.

    Chris,

Thank you so much for posting this. Vaccines have ruined my life. Long story short, I was given a vaccine when I was around 12 (can’t remember my exact age, or which vaccine it was, but it was the last vaccine you get as a child) that dissolved all the muscle in my right leg. I believe that the nurse mistakenly injected the vaccine directly into my gluteus maximus instead of my fatty tissue (I was skin and bones, and even asked her how she was going to be able to find the fat!). I can’t prove whether she injected it into the muscle, or if it somehow just caused the muscle to dissolve, and of course the doctor denied the possibility of that occurring. But within an extremely short period of time after the shot, my gluteus maximus & minimus just started wasting away, causing a number of back, spinal, etc. problems. It’s been more than a decade now, and walking becomes more difficult each day, because I essentially have little to no muscle left on my right side. And because the glutes run through your entire body, more than just my leg is impacted. The most frustrating part of the ordeal has been that doctors absolutely refuse to believe or admit that this could be caused by a vaccine and/or a failure to administer it properly. I’ve never met anyone who has experienced the same thing, so it’s hard feeling like the only one on the planet dealing with this, but I am sure there has to be someone else like me out there. I hope to write a book about all this one day, as a cautionary tale to vaccinations.

Since that day, I have never gotten another vaccination or shot, and don’t take medicine. I’ve also become vegan, so I am thankful that that good at least has resulted.

Sorry to share all of that, but I appreciate you for providing a forum for people to talk about these things…I know my story is one of those 1-in-a-million cases that everybody dismisses, but…it could happen to you (or your child) and I would seriously advise against vaccines…or at least doing some heavy, heavy research and thought about them.

I have two daughters, a toddler and an eight-month-old, between the two of them they have only had a handful of vaccines. I live in New Orleans and have yet to find a pediatrician that is understanding of my feelings about vaccines. My current pediatrician does not like the idea of us not wanting to vaccinate. Since my daughters will most likely home school or attend the private school at our church we may not get any more vaccines.

Hi Chris, I agree with you on vaccines. We have four boys and did exactly what you and your wife did. We didn’t vaccinate till they were older. Fifteen years ago our first was 6-8 mos. old before his first shot. By the time we got to our fourth child (7 years ago) we were waiting till they were 2.5 years old before we allowed vaccinations. We did them one at a time, spaced far apart and followed our instincts.
There’s something to be said for following your instincts. With our first I didn’t feel right letting him be vaccinated at 6-8 mos. old but caved to the pressure. He developed a severe reaction. Later I checked the lot number from his DTaP shot and found several deaths and many reactions had been reported associated with that lot number. After that we only vaccinated when we felt we should. Thanks for all the info on your site. It reaches me at an important time. But that’s for another post sometime…:) Blessings.

My daughters whole world began to crumble around her the week that she received her school vaccines for 6th grade. She began having emotional outbursts and anxiety attacks and refused to go to school or dance class, 2 things she had always loved before. We attributed this to puberty and continued trying to give her emotional support. This was in September. By December she began having troubles wth her vision and swallowing. We found out on January 29 that she has an innoperable brain tumor. I do not think that it is a coincidence that my perfectly healthy child began having these troubles the same week that she received her vaccinations. To watch your child take such a drastic turn is very frightening. It was as if someone new had taken over my child’s body.
