So here’s my talk from the Staying Alive New York 2012 health conference.
It was like pulling teeth to get my hands on it, but I finally got it!
If you don’t know the back story, Alive New York 2012 was promoted as “the world’s largest celebrity health event and awards show”. I was invited to speak and was super excited about it, but it imploded a week before it was supposed to happen. Needless to say, there was a lot of controversy and everybody was pretty much freaking out…
One of the speakers, Wade Lightheart stepped in an organized a new event last minute with the other speakers who were already going to be in New York that weekend. He found a space, put the word out, and we all came together and did a free event called Staying Alive New York.
The attendance was not huge and the space was certainly not glamorous, but it was an incredible event nonetheless. I’m so glad I was able to speak and meet so many awesome like-minded people there.
It’s a 40 minute talk plus 20 minutes of Q&A with the audience.

Thank you, Chris. I was able to view the videos after your tweeking:o) Great job, by the way, and so grateful you are working hard at getting the word out! I show my 4 boys your videos and material to let them know that you were young when this happened and the wake up call you had since my guys seem to think that eating healthy is just “a Mom thing.”
You mentioned the symptoms you experienced before you found out you had the colon cancer…the main one being short-lasting sharp pains after you ate. Can you remember about how long this went on before you decided to go to a doctor about it? Was this the only symptom you had?
I ask because my husband has gut pains alot after eating, and it has been going on for years, I’d say. Sometimes I myself get those “pinch” like pains after eating, but mine just started within a year or so. Both my husband and I are ones who try to stay far away from doctors and hospitals so we haven’t gone to have anything checked. What are your thoughts on colonoscopies?

Hi Michelle I ignored the pain for 6-9 months before getting a colonoscopy. I also had some dark stool with blood. My bloodwork showed low red blood cells, because of the bleeding tumor.
I do think colonsoscopies are good because colon cancer can be easily prevented with early detection and polyp removal. Of course if you don’t change your diet you’re likely to get more polyps in the future.

Hi Chris! Your message in the U-tube was organized, to the point, upbeat, very humble and most of all encouraging. I look forward to introducing others to your website. I have lost many friends, family and neighbors to cancer. They gave up or preferred to trust in “doctors” rather than God.
I was 20 when I developed melanoma on my face. This was almost unheard of for someone that age over forty years ago. The surgery left a 1 and 1/2 inch scar. I didn’t want to end up looking like the bride of Frankenstein and I KNEW that God had to have provided a solution. I just had to have faith and keep searching. Today I look at my susceptibility to skin cancer as a blessing because it is like the canary in the mine to let me know to “clean up my act” through nutrition and other resources that our creator has provided. I am continuing to learn, experiment and share. “Cancer doesn’t scare me anymore”. I am glad that I found your site because I can relate to you. “My Mission is Nutrition”; everyone knows that within the first 10 minutes of meeting me. I can’t help it; it is my passion to tell everyone to have hope because it is God’s Divine Design to be able to heal our bodies. I like to give thanks where it is due and I am pleased that you do too.
I agree with staying away from doctors as much as possible, but modern medicine shines when it comes to diagnosis.I finally went to see my MD for the first time in 15 years because I was getting out of breath much too easily. It turns out I was severely anaemic, because I had colon cancer. It was the farthest thing on my mind.I have been a health nut for years.
Once you know what you are dealing with, you can take such measures as appeal to you.

Great video! I love the part about the Today Show being on while you were waiting in the Oncologist’s waiting room.
And when ALL vegetables will be contaminated by these yummy yummy glycosphate Round Up etc….. Zyclon-B cancer giving Monsanto, Dupont, Syngenta crap, we will eventually not even be able to overdose on natural healing foods. Doctor Ox and the criminals working at Time Magazine said this week with a straigh face that eating like Chris or my grand mmother who until 95, are elitist and undemocratic.Crazy ! You are so right! But this is why we need to buy organic! It is a bit more expensive, but worth it! If everyone starts buying organic the prices will go down!

I have watched your videos and read most of the writings on your website. Like yourself, I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, had radiotherapy and eventually surgery that removed my rectum. After learning about your experience and obtaining a great amount of information on the subject, I have decided not to do chemotherapy and was wondering what would you recommend..?
In the spring of 2008, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. After surgery to remove her right breast and many lymph nodes, my mom has been dealing with lymphedema the past five years. On a recent CAT scan, a few small tumors were found where her lymph nodes used to be and they are slowly growing and causing my moms lymphedema to be even worse causing her constant pain on top of the stress of the news. My mom has decided to take an all natural path to healing with Dr. Keith Nemec at Total Health Institute in Wheaton, IL. The treatment plan is very thorough, my mom is completely changing her diet to eat an all vegetarian diet that avoids all sugars, meats, dairy, and processed foods. Hey Chris…. Loved the videos. I, like Don, have Large B Cell Diffuse NHL. I opted for 3-6 treatments of R-CHOP chemo because I was only in stage 2 & was scared it would systemically travel my system. I thought I could work on my immune system & health while going through it. No where do I read that one can bring themselves back to good health AFTER chemo, nor what to do DURING chemo to help offset the damage. Would you mind commenting on that? Thanks so much!

I want to come to the “Healing Seminar” in Ga. I had breast cancer in 2001. Doc wanted to do a massive Masectomy on me. I found another doc who did a lumptectomy. 8 years later cancer back in lungs, brain, and lymph nodes. I HAD SOME RADIATION ON MY BRAIN LAST SUMMER. I have been trying lots of natural remedies.
