In 2000, at 31 years old, Marine F/A-18 fighter pilot LtCol David Trombly received the shocking news that he had a rare terminal cancer; diffuse large B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in his jaw bone. There were no survivors of this type of cancer over 5 years. With this knowledge, David and his wife Megan took time to research nutrition and natural, non-toxic therapies and David chose to pursue a holistic path to healing rather than conventional treatment. David found and followed many of the same resources that I did and he got well!
Today, 23 years later, David is cancer-free and thriving. He wrote a book about his healing journey and his fight to save his military career called Grounded and Cured: One Marine Fighter Pilot’s Inspirational Story of Miraculous Healing from a Rare Bone Cancer through Alternative Medicine and His Unprecedented Return to Flight Status.
David retired in 2019 after serving the United States for 25 years. His military career culminated in training Student Naval Aviators and First Tour Flight Instructors as the Reserve Senior Marine At Naval Air Station Whiting Field. David is a published author and motivational speaker and serves as Chaplain for Pensacola’s professional hockey team – the Ice Flyers.
