How Ivelisse healed stage 4 colon cancer with mistletoe

Ivelisse Page is a 10-year stage 4 colon cancer survivor.

Like me, she refused chemo after surgery and adopted a natural protocol which included hardcore nutrition and natural therapies. The therapy she believes was most helpful was mistletoe (aka Iscador/Iscar/Helixor).

In 2011 after getting well she founded Believe Big to raise money for a mistletoe clinical trial, and she did it!

The phase 1 clinical trial is now open for enrollment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine!

Go to www.believebig.org to learn more about mistletoe, the mistletoe clinical trial, and to locate doctors who use mistletoe.

Enjoy this awesome interview with Ivelisse Page!

Wow, thank you so much for this interview! I have been trying to weigh the option of mistletoe for my thyroid tumor since it being introduced to me by my nauturopath, and then came across this!

      Hi Chris,

What a blessing you are, as you bring all these awareness information through research verified by no less than you in true to life example and others who have gone through the same battle and came out victoriously. As you said, our bodies heal itself but we need to give it what it needs. I am still battling cancer and have decided to go raw 100% and coupled with this is my faith knowing with all my heart that He will carry me through. i refused to go through chemo because I have seen what it did to my sister who suffered a a great deal when she opted for medical intervention at the time. She did’nt know any better option wise during her time. But now, thank God for awareness left and right through people who care like you. I am closely following you daily and this interview with Ivilliese is one triumphant jubilee of hope for everyone battling cancer. Keep on keeping on with your crusade. Not until our Maker takes us home, we’ll just continue to trust Him for wisdom, and guidance and His grace will see us through. ” May your light (continue to) shine before men, that they may see your good work and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

      Blessings,

      Annie

How can a person become part of this trial? I have breast cancer. My surgeon was fired for accepting cases who refuse chemo. I am very interested in this.

    1. Ivelisse

Thank you for your post. Unfortunately, this trial is still in the development phase. The good news is that you don’t have to wait for this trial in order to get mistletoe therapy. Please go to http://www.believebig.org, click on our resource page which will have a tab that reads “naturopath/MD”. When you click on that tab it will direct you to a list of physicians that can treat cancer with mistletoe by state. May the Lord continue to give you wisdom and direction in the days ahead. Sincerely, Ivelisse

First, thank you for everything you do! My question is that I noticed that you had your
tumor surgically removed as well as the lady
in your video had part of her liver surgically removed.
Are such surgeries necessary if a person builds up their immune system by dieting, exercise, etc.? In other words, knowing what you know now, if you had it to do over again, would you have the surgery?
Thanks so much for all that you do and please keep up the good work!!!

Hi Chris, I just discovered you through a friend. Love and believe everything you believe in. I am a 2x cancer survivor. First time at 20 years old, diagnosed with Hodgekins disease. Age 50 diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer caused from the radiation from the first cancer. I was using Iscador but my Holistic Doctor is saying they are not allowing it into the U.S. anymore. I’m so thankful for your site and I’m going to be one of your biggest fans! Thanks for all the great information and everything you do!!!!

You can also make ‘treats’ that are SUPER HEALTHY. I make dark chocolate from organic raw cacao, coconut oil and maple syrup…cake with walnuts, date and cacao… frosting with avocado, date and cacao… ice cream with frozen bananas and other fruit like peaches or strawberries.

If you have cancer, you still want to keep the sweets to a minimum. But these kinds of recipes are far better than “cheating” on manufactured sugar and dairy products. And they can be made much quicker and easier than cooked desserts.

For some very good recipes, see the cake and frosting recipes in “Ani’s Raw Food Desserts” by Ani Phyo, “Everyday Raw” by Matthew Kenney (the BEST raw cherry ice cream in the world!) and Susan Powers’ books and website http://www.rawmazing.com – AMAZING, alright!

  8. Susie

The mistletoe treatment sounds so exciting! Could you give me an idea of what the cost of the mistletoe therapy is for a patient. Thanks and best of luck to everyone involved in the clinical trial.

  9. Annmarie

Thanks for sharing! Praise the Lord for Ivelisse’s miracle!

I’m so glad to hear this great report. Seeing that she was a Christian I would have liked to see/hear a little more about her faith, and how it directed and affected her recovery. I know how important one’s relationship with the Great Physician is in healing, as I seek myself for healing from Lyme Disease and many coinfections, and I’m so thankful He lead her to find this great source to use.

Just to make mention of a great resource, I believe that Ty Bollinger’s book, Cancer, Step Outside the Box, would be a great blessing/resource to anyone who has recently been diagnosed, and for people to have if someone they know has a cancer diagnosis. He has a great chapter explaining about the cure for our greatest need being Jesus.

May the Lord use both you, Chris, and Ivelisse, to not only help others discover great natural physical healing, but also to help introduce people to the one who saves souls for eternity!

    God Bless,
    Annmarie

I just got an email from S R Sport selling a “pink” bathing suit for breast cancer research. I canceled my “email subscription” and told them why. I referred them to http://www.believebig.org/ :)

  11. Cindy

    Ivilisse,
You made a passing reference to taking vacinations in preparation for a trip out of the country. Do you think that had some bearing on your illness. Do you have mercury amalgams? Have you been checked for heavy metals toxicity? This is a path I am pursing presently. Was diagnosed stage three colon cancer at age 55 (same age my father had it). Had a surgery, but NO CHEMO. Still have a spot on my ascending colon that I am keeping in check with diet, supplemnts and reglular detox w/coffee enemas. Heavy metal chelation is the next step with modified citrus pectin. Will consider Iscador too. Thank you for your story!

Chris, Ivelisse, Everyone posting stories on this blog,

THANK YOU for sharing. THIS, right here, is what the world needs.

I am from Brazil and I found your blog (don’t know how anymore). I don’t have any cancer, my mom had it twice and beat it with surgery and radiation, hopefully she won’t have it again, but BOY it is very good to see there are other alternatives here.

    Chemotherapy is death!!

Thank you again, please keep up the good work.

  16. mary

Hello. I live in ARgentina. Please can you refer me to a doctor who will lead me on this therapy in florida. it is the closest state to South America, or a clinic en Mexico I could travel to. Please as soon as posible for I have an obstructing tumor in my colon that Dr wants to remove soon. He said only after he removes he will tell me if I need chemo. Must I remove the tumor in any event? Or will the mistle toe disolve it. thank you. God bless both of you!!!! You are more that wonderful people.

  17. Tara Haaland-Ford

Thank you for this information. I am currently fighting stage 4 colon cancer. I just recently became resectable and had 20% of my liver taken as well.
I am very interested in this therapy and will be following up on your website. I have been doing both western and eastern medicine since diagnosed in November 2012. I was diagnosed at 40. I’m currently looking at my next phase of treatment now that it looks like the surgeons were able to remove all the visible cancer. When do you think the trial will be up and running?

  18. Betsy Reed

Chris and Ivelisse — you are my angels! Chris, I have been following your site for quite a while. About the time I received my breast cancer diagnosis (9/11/13), I also saw Ivelisse’s story on your site. I was so excited to hear her story as I am only 45 minutes from the Ruscombe Mansion in Baltimore and was hoping to find an alternative therapy for my cancer! (I live just outside of Washington, DC) I quickly got an appointment with Dr. Grundmann (a colleague of Dr. Hinderberger’s) and I have already started on mistletoe! My oncologist and surgeon are pushing hard for me to do the Tamoxifen/chemo/radiation route. I have convinced them, at least for the time being, to let me just try the mistletoe to see if it can shrink the tumor. (Surgeon will not operate until the tumor is diminished.) I just want to thank you both for sharing the mistletoe story. I will keep you posted and let you know if I see positive results. Blessings to you both — and THANK YOU!

  19. Jenn

Awesome interview….so excited to finally see research that might actually work and not one that just continues to pad the pockets of the pharmaceutical companies!! Believe big rocks…..best of luck and continued health!!!

  20. Carolyn Holmes

Herbalists have been using mistletoe for centuries. Here in
Europe it has been in regular use in cancer treatment for over 90 yrs. The UK National Health Service provides mistletoe treatment via injections or transfusions to cancer patients. It is considered to be the most frequently prescribed complementary treatment for cancer in Europe.

There have been many cases in the media of people having great success with this form of treatment. I am using it myself after having recently suffered from a second dose of kidney cancer.

  21. Bob Moncayo

Hi Guys! I have stage four cancer(Renal Cell) and its in my bones, kidney lungs. I have been eating well and no sugar with enemas and dry sauna.I have had it now for four years and still play ball with my High school son! I am going to add Misteltoe to my diet and let you guys know. I am going to try supplements first and then try to afford a doctor for intravenous. Thanks so much for his video as I am at crossroads as my cancer seems to be trying to take over but we will fight! Thanks Robert

  22. Pat

Iscasor/misteltoe has been utilized for quite a while.
A physician (can usually be found) connected with the Waldorf community, is generally well versed with Anthroposophic Medicine, mistletoe and cancer.

  23. Lisa Musulman

Wasn’t it Iscador that Suzanne Sommer used to cure her cancer?

  24. daicy melitado

    Hi Chris,
I am Daicy, I am a filipina, I am also battling right now with a stage 3b colon cancer just like you 10 years ago. I am inspired and determined that I can beat this cancer through God’s mercy and through your helpful and informative blog. I am very thankful to know more how to fight this fatal decease.

  25. daicy melitado

I mean this fatal disease. I found that mistletoe is very hard to find here it in our country.

My husband’s oldest son in Colorado has suffered with ulcerative colitis/Crohn’s for years (he was on Accutane when he was younger). He’s 36 and very active, but is now considering having his colon removed. Does anyone know a holistic, alternative Dr. in the Colorado Springs that could help.
