Tara Mann courageously left a six-figure income as a pharmaceutical rep when she discovered that cancer can be healed with nutrition and natural therapies. She also converted to a plant-based diet.
Now she runs Cancer Crackdown, a non-profit that helps cancer patients find natural and alternative therapies that are right for them and supports them in their healing journey.
In our interview, Tara explains what pharmaceutical reps do, how they make money, how they influence doctors, the reasons she had to quit, and how she helps cancer patients navigate the world of alternative therapies.

How are pharm reps trained? What qualifies them to educate doctors? What are the qualifications to becoming a pharm rep?
They are trained by pharmaceutical companies to sell drugs. No special qualifications or degrees needed, although physical attractiveness seems to be a prerequisite.

any update re: the natural healing clinic in cambodia? how’s that project going?
The other day I was in the dollar store and there was a man there with a basket filled with back-sscratchers and beads air fresheners. He was t Ellington a woman in the line that he is big pharmacy sales representative who is planning a community event and that the items will be prizes.He put on a dramatic show about how it would all play out”So, Ms X I see you have picked a back scratcher that means your potassium is low so……………yyou guess the rest because I couldn’t stand to even hear the rest.Can you imagine? Big Pharmacy makes billions and comes to the $ store to spend pennies in order to plan a scheme in order to fool people into thinking they have a disease because they chose a back scratcher and now they need to go to the MD so they can BE PRESCRIBED DRUMS for a PHOTO ILLNESS???
