How Karla Mans Giroux healed metastatic breast cancer

“I decided I was going to do everything I could do to live to be 100 … and that meant taking my health into my own hands.” -Karla Mans Giroux

Karla Mans Giroux is a holistic cancer health coach, educator, speaker, and Radical Remission survivor of metastatic breast cancer. She serves as Co-Director of the Radical Remission Project, Co-Host of the Radical Remission: Stories That Heal podcast, and Co-Founder of Health Navigators, a virtual cancer wellness community.

Karla was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 and was put into remissison with surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Eleven years later, in 2014, she faced a devastating recurrence.

But instead of accepting a hopeless prognosis, Karla made a powerful choice to pursue a holistic approach to healing.

She began addressing every area of her life, including nutrition, emotional health, stress, mindset, and spirituality. She committed to creating an internal and external environment that would support her body to heal.

Karla has been cancer cancer-free and thriving since 2016.

Karla is yet another wonderful example of what can happen when you take radical responsibility for your health. Enjoy!

I've interviewed over 80 people who've healed all types and stages of cancer. Check them out here. Or use the search bar to find survivors of specific cancer types.

I also created a coaching program for cancer patients and anyone who is serious about prevention called SQUARE ONE. It contains the step-by-step strategies used by myself and many others who have healed cancer with a holistic approach using nutrition and natural non-toxic therapies.

Thank you Chris for all your breast cancer information this month! I was first diagnosed with bc in ‘09 and like your guest did some of the typical interventions out of fear. After my 5 yr free and clear check up, I was done with drs and just lived my life happy go lucky or so I thought until ‘23 when I got the dreaded news that my bc was now metastasized in my bones. I never even knew that others had healed their cancers with diet and lifestyle changes (who would have thunk it) so started down the oncology path but really it wasn’t helping but made me worse. I did however do some unconventional supplements and that led me to finding you on a podcast. Wow what a contrast of thinking and it truly gave me hope. Thank you thank you thank you! I feel better than I have since I was a kid. I am trying to spread the news but conventional medicine has such a foothold in people’s minds. I do get that fear is a real debilitating thing and I know of some that have passed (using conventional medicine). Keep up the good work.

Kirsten, I’d love to connect. I have the same diagnosis. I am very holistic minded but currently meeting with traditional medicine docs. I’m overwhelmed and scared.

      1. Kirsten

Would be happy to connect. Not sure how.

I like following you, but when you say it’s dangerous you can die and only a few can do it! Becomes detrimental. There so many an educated lot who have healed their Cancer in a very simple straight forward protocols. This people will never be known by the masses . My point is it is doable again and again

You took a lot of time talking about yourself. You can see she tried to talk but you continued with your own story. Especially on forgiveness. Your experience is valuable but I want to hear other survivor’s steps taken too.
