Katherine Lawrence on healing stage IV endometriosis, cysts and fibroids, and reversing infertility with a plant-based diet

Katherine Lawrence is a globally recognized nutritionist with more than 17 years of experience teaching nutrition for disease prevention. In addition to certifications from Stanford Medicine in Nutrition Science and Cornell University in Plant-Based Nutrition, she has worked personally with Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Neil Barnard, featuring her story in several of Dr. Barnard’s books.

While working as an aerospace engineer in 2006, Katherine was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis, ovarian and uterine cysts. She was told that there was no cure for her condition, that she was completely infertile, and that a total hysterectomy was her only option.

However, Katherine was able to heal her condition with a dietary transformation and become a mother of three boys. After her remarkable recovery, she changed her focus to teaching how nutrition can help heal chronic disease.

Katherine is a remarkable plant-based advocate and educator who seeks to help others adopt a healthier diet and lifestyle for disease prevention. Enjoy!

i don’t believe in karma but there is a certain aspect of karma to eating the flesh of another living creature of this earth and using animals in general : blatant waste : water is and is becoming an increasingly precious commodity world wide–we in this country use half of all the water we have and half of all the crops we grow in the production of pigs, cattle, chickens and on and on–for their flesh and dairy and eggs they produce–wasting these resources instead of feeding several times more people of our country and the world —environment damage: the methane and waste by products of animal production contributes to green house emissions and global warming–cruelty: animals are mostly raised in “factory farms under horrible conditions and treated horribly and brutally slaughtered-and last but not least promotes sickness and illness: cholesterol clogs coronary and brain blood vessels hastening heart disease and dementia –promotes inflammation— & the growth hormone casein in all dairy ( intended for a baby of whatever species) promotes growth in aberrant cancer cells giving them a boost and potentially promoting cancer. Are those enough reasons to go vegan. ( oh but it tastes so good ) but you’ll pay a very high price in the end. GO VEGAN—Save the earth–save the animals-and save yourself !!!

Thank you Chris and Katherine for this great information. It is remarkable to understand how we can heal our body with food. The chemicals are killing us… some people have a hard time understanding how soda could possibly be bad for us because they taste good to them.

Chris I’ve been a follower of yours for a while and I loved this interview, I write this comment mainly to encourage you to do that sleep clinic experiment! I’ve been meaning to buy one of those devices but they’re pricey and my budget is limited so I’d love to know for sure which one of those is more accurate! Keep up the good work Chris
