Here are the sleep products I use and/or recommend now. I did not list specific brands in my book as these recommendations may change over time as new discoveries are made.

Download the free SleepScore Sleep Tracking App to get feedback on the quality and duration of your sleep over the next 7 days. SleepScore uses your smartphone microphone and speaker to track and measure your breathing rate and body movement, and gives you an in-depth analysis into every stage of your sleep. And it works while your phone is on Airplane mode.

Blue light blocking glasses
I have two pairs of blue-blocking glasses from Swanwick Sleep and I really like them. I wear them at night after sundown. These are a must have if you are use your smartphone, computer, or watch TV after dark. They also make lighter tinted glasses for daytime wear if you work on a computer all day. There are other brands available on Amazon as well.

Sound Machine
The Marpac Dohm is, in my opinion, the perfect “sounding” sound machine. Marpac also makes a portable one that I travel with called the Rohm.

Air Purifiers
One of TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2017, the Molekule Air Purifier uses nanotechnology to destroy mold, bacteria, viruses, allergens and VOCs at the molecular level. I got so excited when I saw the EPA funded research that I pre-ordered one and had to wait 6 months to get it. I liked it so much, that after a few months of use, I bought another one for my office.

Another great air filter is the Air Doctor Pro, which uses an ULTRAHEPA filter that is 100 times more effective than ordinary HEPA filters. This link for Chris Beat Cancer readers will get you nearly 50% off!

Sunrise Alarm Clock
I prefer wake up naturally in the morning, but if you need help waking up at a specific time, the Philips Wake Up Light has the highest rating on Amazon and it looks pretty cool too.

Ground Yourself
Earthing.com sells grounding sheets, blankets, pads and more to keep you connected to the earth. We have a sheet on our bed and I use a grounding mat under my office keyboard.

Sleep Masks
I don’t wear a sleep mask at home, but have found them invaluable when I’m traveling and find myself sleeping in less than ideal conditions. My friend “The Sleep Doctor” Michael Breus recommends Dream Essentials sleep masks. The ASUTRA Silk Eye Pillow is Amazon’s highest rated sleep mask. Both are under $20.

Organic Mattresses
I really like these two organic mattress companies: Mountain Air Organic Beds and Avocado Green Mattress Company. We have one brand and my in-laws have the other.

Anti-Snoring Devices
If you snore, you are breathing through your mouth instead of your nose. You aren’t respirating efficiently, and you aren’t getting restful sleep. And you’re probably eating spiders. I recommend either a chin strap or Somnifix mouth tape. As silly as they may seem, these devices force you to breath through your nose at night, training your body to do it over time, and will improve the quality of your sleep.
