Dr. Chadi Nabhan – Expert witness against Monsanto in the Roundup cancer trials

Chadi Nabhan, MD is an award-winning hematologist and medical oncologist specializing in non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Dr. Nabhan testified as an expert witness in the first three trials against Monsanto for their potentially cancer-causing herbicide glyphosate, sold under the brand name Roundup. Roundup is the most commonly used herbicide in the world.

Dr. Nabhan authored a new book entitled Toxic Exposure: The True Story Behind The Monsanto Trials and The Search for Justice. It is a behind-the-scenes look inside three major trials involving Monsanto’s glyphosate-containing weed killer RoundUp.

Dr. Nabhan is also the host of Healthcare Unfiltered, a podcast featuring candid discussions of the most pressing, and often controversial, medical topics.

What is glyphosate?
Glyphosate is a chemical herbicide and crop desiccant. About 280 million pounds of glyphosate is sprayed on 298 million acres annually in the US alone. Glyphosate has been linked to cancer, liver disease, kidney damage, and infertility. A recent meta-analysis found a 41% higher risk of non-Hodgkins lymphoma with heavy glyphosate exposure.

How to limit your glyphosate exposure
-Buy organic as much as possible
-Look for the Glyphosate Residue Free Label
-Review list of glyphosate-free products
-Peel the skin on conventionally grown food
-Use EWG’s Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen lists
-Cook at home as much as possible to know what is in your food

Wow this is so scary I googled if it is used in South African and this was the response

The weed killer, glyphosate, is widely used in South Africa and has been found in bread flour and maize meal. In South Africa, the use of glyphosate – an active ingredient in certain herbicides, which is used on genetically modified crops – has been growing.

In fact it goes further
Which bread is glyphosate free in South Africa?
The only Glyphosate free bread in this country are the organic loaves baked by Fritz Schoon in Stellenbosch. (Every loaf tested in the supermarkets contains Glyphosate).

Hi, It’s so frustrating and is disheartening to listen to all this, I already know about it. Call me naive but can’t we grow our foods commercially hydroponically. Farmers can turn their land into growing hydroponically, no pesticides needed, 80% if not more less water and land needed no tilling on and on …oh ok some say less nutrients are in hydroponics not really but ok choose your poison! Hydroponics grows vegetables fruit herbs what’s not to love.
