Heidi Sorensen, 27-year holistic breast cancer thriver on juicing, raw food and forgiveness

“I realized I had never forgiven my father… I had anger and unforgiveness and didn’t realize that our bodies store the emotions.” – Heidi Sorensen

Actress, singer, and screenwriter Heidi Sorensen was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997 at 37, right after the birth of her daughter. What should have been the happiest season of her life, turned into the scariest.

After surgery, Heidi opted out of further conventional treatment and chose a holistic approach to healing. She took massive action by adopting a raw food diet with daily juicing and she also focused on forgiveness and keeping a positive mindset.

Heidi is a counselor, certified Mindfulness Meditation teacher, and has been an advocate for women for over 20 years. She served as the director of a charitable organization for girls and women which focused on issues including human trafficking and abuse.

As of this interview, Heidi is 27 years cancer-free and thriving! In 2023 she published a book entitled The Booby Trap: Bust Out of Breast Cancer and Heal Yourself.

Heidi Sorensen is yet another wonderful example of how you can facilitate healing by radically changing every aspect of your life for the better.

I know you will enjoy Heidi’s heartfelt and inspirational story.

    Hi
I have a soft tissue sarcoma as rare cancer around liver. I am thriving with pill treatment cause my sickness with nausea to help from anti- nausea pill. It called Sutent 37.5 mg as targeted therapy. I’m getting frustrated to eat but only liquid to drink with high protein. I know I’m different than others. I find hard to walk and tiredness to help with walker.
I don’t know what I should do and am thinking to stop Sutent pills and no other options. That’s sucks!
Don’t know if you know someone like me and would talk about it.
    Thank you for your time.

That was great! I agree survivor doesn’t really fit. The cancer was holding information about pain and anger I was holding from others. So, it was more of a messenger than something to survive from. Also, the concept of forgiveness, isn’t it more about letting go of their energy? There is a karmic loop we may have with someone and we just need to break the loop of dysfunction, anger and abuse to move on. Just some thoughts.

Chris, I have listened to you, bot the Square One (2) books and I have to say, this interview with Heidi Sorensen has been one of THE most positive and make sense interviews I’ve listened to. I’m not sick with any cancer but I believe knowledge is powerful. We have to take responsibility for our own health and many many times our own treatment. God bless you and your work. Thank you for sharing this important work.

    Love, my story is similar

I love these survivor stories as they are truly inspiring and encouraging. I would love to hear more testimonies of the people who 100% went holistic and alternative meaning no surgery no chemo no radiation none of the conventional stuff. When I tell people I’m doing alternative, forgoing mastectomy they’ll comment on those who got surgery first and THEN healed it naturally.

I had been fasting and praying, asking Jesus to reveal the next step in my healing journey. He said to my heart and put on my heart that I had to cut off ties with my toxic adult son and his wife. I had to let them go because they were disrespectful and harmful. They are hindering my healing process, and then when I listened to this podcast, it was a confirmation that it was time for me to let go of them so that I could take care of my emotional baggage and heal from my childhood trauma. I was so encouraged by this podcast. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021, and I have not had surgery, chemo, or radiation. I’ve been following Chris’s program not 100%, but I am mainly following it. I just haven’t seen a significant breakthrough because it appears that I needed to take care of the emotional aspect. My soon-to-be ex was abusive, as well as my son’s biological father, and now my adult son and his wife.
Then I also experienced childhood abuse, so I have just been through the wringer, but Jesus Christ of Nazareth has saved my soul, and I believe that things are going to turn around for me. I am so excited to see what God has for me. I do want to comment.

I do want to say that we are not all children. Of God, The Bible teaches explicitly in John 3:10 that if you’re not saved and have not been forgiven by Jesus, you’re not his child. However, God has created us, but we are not all his children, and I just wanted to clarify that because some people think that they can live like the devil and still think that they are God’s children, and that is not true. That is deception from Satan, but thanks again for this podcast. It was very inspirational and uplifting, and I enjoyed it. I feel even more motivated to keep fighting the fight.

Great, Great interview. Thanks so much for sharing this, Chris Wark. I am going to forward this video to my insurance agent who has stage 3 breast cancer, who was divorcing an abusive husband, who is most likely the cause of her developing cancer in her body. I will also recommend Dr. Ha to her. I’ve watched this twice now and have learned so much – Heidi Sorenson was very informative. I have also read the Chris Beat Cancer book twice. I am working to prevent cancer and to maintain good health for myself.
